If you like the idea of a robot that vacuums and mops your rugs wet, you should consider the impressive Dreamebot Braava jet M6. This Robot Vacuum Mops uses advanced navigation, similar to the iRobot s9 and i7+, to map your home and save a cleaning map that you can customize.

iRobot the i1

The iRobot i1 robot vacuum also mopses. It can be controlled through the iRobot app, or by voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It's a little less expensive than higher-end Roomba models, such as the i8+, j7+ or s9+. It has many of the same features, however it doesn't have the advanced navigation features that more expensive models have.

It's excellent at cleaning bare floors, but it doesn't do well at picking up pet hair or other particles on carpeting. It's excellent on tile and laminate flooring and comes with a head for cleaning that fits into corners. It can be programmed to clean certain areas or rooms within your home. It also lets you to set virtual boundaries to prevent it from entering areas you don't want it to.

The i1 is also compatible with a self-emptying dirt compartment that lets you avoid having to empty the trash manually each time it's running out of space. It's easy to maintain but you must clean its brushes each week. Its vSLAM navigation system utilizes cameras instead of laser sensors, meaning it takes longer to determine the location of rooms and doesn't detect furniture like the more expensive Roomba models.

If you experience a problem, iRobot will provide free replacement parts for a whole year when you sign up for its iRobot Select program. The program comes with a few restrictions that include not covering the possibility of theft, mysterious disappearance or misplacement and doesn't substitute the standard 1-year manufacturer warranty.

2. iRobot i7+

Watching the Roomba clean the floor is mesmerizing, but the way the i7+ accomplishes the task might even be more so. The i7+ is rational and methodical, in contrast to less expensive Roomba 690 or Eufy RoboVac 11s, which bounce around the room like a pool ball and become stuck under furniture. It starts by vacuuming in rows across the floor, then moves along the edges of rooms. If it runs out of battery or its dirt bin gets full, it pauses and returns to where it stopped when it recharges. It also keeps a recurrent map of the room. This means that if you move furniture or change the layout of a space, the i7+ will adjust its map every time it cleans the area.

The i7+ can be controlled remotely through the iRobot Home App, without having to be physically present. From the app you can schedule cleaning sessions in particular rooms or establish virtual boundary lines to prevent it from certain areas. You can also track the status and level of battery of Roomba's battery and status. Roomba as well as its record of cleaning tasks.

The i7+ is significantly more expensive than the 981, but it comes with better performance on bare floors as well as a bigger dustbin and the capacity to automatically empty its dirt bin into a bigger dirtbag that is built into its charging dock. The iRobot also feels better-built, has a longer maximum battery life and charges faster than the Shark. The i7+ is also able to remove more debris from carpets with low pile and you can set up virtual barrier line by using the iRobot Home App. The i7+ isn't the best robot vacuum for pet owners or anyone with long hair, though. Its sweeping brush is likely to get tangled with hair, and you'll need turn it over and clean its moving parts every now and then.

3. iRobot S9+

The iRobot S9+ or Baby Rocky, as my 3-year old calls it, does a great job of cleaning floors that are bare. It removes a variety of debris and has the strongest suction we've ever seen in an ordinary robot. It has a long-lasting battery and is a premium-feeling machine. It can clean large areas without running out.

It also creates personal Smart Maps that allow it to navigate efficiently in neat rows. Imprint Link technology is used to automatically mop after vacuuming. It's the only iRobot robot that has a D-shaped robot body. This lets it reach closer to edges and corners compared to traditional round robots, such as the Neato Botvac D7.

We found it to be more intuitive than the previous models and easy to use. It can be used with voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant and has a variety of settings that can be adjusted that allow you to adjust its cleaning strength. The iRobot App also lets you to create a list with the rooms you'd like to Effortlessly Clean and Mop with iRobot Roomba i5. This is useful when you want to make your robot focus on a particular area.

The S9 may occasionally run over cords, toys and power cords. It also makes a lot of noise when vacuuming, and it occasionally gets stuck on bigger obstacles, such as couch legs. It never stopped powering up during cleaning and then returned to its dock to forcefully clean the dirt into the storage container. The self-cleaning and docking feature is a significant improvement over earlier iRobots that required manual emptying each time they were used.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra has a mobile app that is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. You can start a cleaning session by tapping the screen of your smartphone or giving a voice order. Physical controls on the robot are not as extensive and functions are only accessible via the app as well as a few buttons, including a quit button that forces the unit to quit its base station, and a clean button that begins a general cleaning.

The L10s Ultra is also the only robot vacuum and mopper we have reviewed that self-empty, self-refilling docking station. That means you can leave the robot on its own for up to 60 days before having to empty its dust bag or fill its water tank.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra has some of most advanced AI features available in its class. It makes use of an RGB camera and 3D structured lighting to study the structure of your home, tailor cleaning strategies, and generate paths based upon the room's layout and obstacles. That helps minimize missed spots, frequent cleaning, and frustration from getting lost or stuck.

Navigation and obstacle detection performed effectively in our tests with the robot able to recognize thin chair legs and the like. However, it can get caught in loose cables or socks that are lying on the floor. Thankfully, this can be avoided by disabling object recognition in the application.

Some people are concerned about privacy, but we experienced no issues with the Dreametech L10s Ultra camera. The privacy policy of the company is explicit that they don't keep any of your camera images and you can deactivate the feature of room recognition or object avoidance in the app if you'd prefer not to enable these features.

5. Eufy 11S

The Eufy 11S robotic vacuum is a basic model that is able to collect fine dust, as well as large debris from hard surfaces. It's great for daily cleanings, but it's not very efficient in cleaning edges or corners. It's easy to use using an remote control, and has various cleaning modes that are automated. It doesn't come with an app, so it's not able to set virtual barriers, track the life of your accessories or look over cleaning history. The 11S is a great choice for people who want an affordable, basic and hassle-free robot.

The 11S is a low-profile model that measures just 7.2 cm. This makes it possible to fit under low furniture and easily overhang doors. It has sturdy and large wheels that enable it to easily handle carpets and high pile carpets. The dirt compartment is larger than the other models, which means it will need to be emptied less often. The remote control allows you to change a variety of settings, including power modes and automated programs. It also has manual spot cleaner as well as an edge cleaning mode. The 11S can also be tethered to its charging dock with the included zip tie.

Compared to the ILIFE A4s the eufy RoboVac 11S is superior in removing pet hair on bare floors and is less prone to bulky debris. It's also more durable, easier to maintain and has lower costs for maintenance and provides superior performance on all kinds of floors. It also has a longer battery life and is easier to move around. It does not have an intelligent pathing feature, however, it offers many other conveniences including a self-emptying dust bin and an directional remote. It also has the most advanced HEPA filter and allergen-trapping filtration system than the ILIFE A4s.
