The frame of the Xplore is solid and sturdy however it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. The seat reclines with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy unlike other pram hoods that are whipped back into toddlers faces.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face each other or rotate around to face parents, theoretically reducing sibling disputes over who should sit with mom and dad. It comes with a big tray for gears with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also has a superior folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.
