It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopy sizes.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy unlike other pram hoods that are whipped back into toddlers faces.
