PU tyres can be found on more pushchairs than air-filled tyres, yet they are still just as durable. You can tell PU tire treads by their matte appearance and soft feel. They also slide on smooth and tidy surfaces.

If you move your hand over the tyres you can determine if they're rubber or PU. If it feels as if it's moving, then it is a rubber tyre, which is a. You can also check whether your buggy is equipped with PU tyres sliding them onto flat, clean surfaces. They should roll easily and fit comfortably into wheel hubs.

Foam tyres are commonly used in high-performance buggies as well as Joggers due to their ability to deal with the rough terrain common to this type of pushchair. This could make your buggy less stable as the foam will lose its springy feel. The tyres can also be noisy due to the fact that they create a lot noise when you turn and drive around the town.
