According to EU regulations, they have to meet minimum requirements of a reclining angle of around 150deg. Certain brands, such as Graco, have overcome this with their new "comfitech" in-seat suspension that allows the seat to recline at a slightly more flatter angle for a little more comfort. This is available on the Lila XP all-terrain pushchair which can be used with a compatible Graco infant car seat to create a 3- in 1 travel system.

Wheels

All-terrain pushchairs are essential when you live in the countryside or take your child for regular walks through rough terrain. Many models also have a durable suspension and are puncture-proof, which means they can be used on grass, woodland paths, forest paths, gravel roads, and market town cobbles.

Some all-terrain pushchairs also feature an adjustable front wheel that gives extra stability when walking over rough terrain and over high kerbs. Some have swivel wheels on the front that allow you to move the buggy more easily when you need to change direction or turn corners.

Some all-terrain models have foam tyres which are less susceptible to punctures, but aren't as effective in taking in shock and could feel harder to push than air-filled tyres.
