The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't require a stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation for being the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who want an adaptable stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, so parents can choose the mode they prefer for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months old to 5 years, and it comes with a spacious storage basket to accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore has dual canopies which can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This may not be suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models, and it does not secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger sunshades.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. However, it's missing certain essential features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the latest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted in only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through everyday bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position or swivel. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on the stony path. It handled the situation well, though it did seem a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to fold and fits into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It weighs more than other strollers that we tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains, and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong unlike other pram hoods that are bounced back into toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of food. It can also be used with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from infant's earliest days through. It has a number of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has an eye-shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes equipped with the option to add a car seat or carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use, using a single colored and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single buggy with buggy board pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and features an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each one. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This will help reduce sibling disputes about who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a huge tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most infant car seats and bassinets however, you can use them from the first day with adapters that fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and assemble in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
