The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot cleaner with mop vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robot vacuum for carpet and hardwood robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
